Welcome to our Blog!
2006 seems to have got off to a good start for Lavish, & we hope this year proves as fruitful as 2005.
Firstly, the Managing Director Kate got married. Secondly, we are pleased to announce we have a dynamic, helpful & experienced team operating in the library, namely Sarah Mitchell and Kate Rowe-Ham (nee Webber) and we hope to see the return of Helen Streek in March, after she gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl in May 2005. We also have a new recruit Sarah Arrowsmith who joined the team in September 2005.
We have recently been working on a number of exciting new feature films. In January alone we have supplied locations for ..
"Penelope"- a feature with Penelope Cruz, Reese Witherspoon & Christina Ricci!
"The Holiday" - a feature with Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law & Jack Black!
We also have one or two "secret" features which we will hopefully be able to reveal next month so make sure you return regulary to find out all the latest news!
Sarah & Sarah had a great experience last week when they were invited on to the location we had supplied for "Eastenders", mingling with the likes of Grant (Ross Kemp), Jonny Allen
(Billy Murray), Phil (Steve McFadden) to name a few, and really we can't say much more in case we give the game away, but all we can say is if you are an Eastenders fan... keep watching!!

Lavish are please to announce we have taken on Althorp Park. It is an amazing unique stately home, with a warm family feel, with lots to offer, including the most wonderful staircase. Please see Ref A1117 for images.
March 2006
We would like to Welcome Helen back today from maternity leave.
Sarah Mitchell & Sarah Arrowsmith went to our location for "Beatrix Potter" starring Rennee Zellweger at the weekend, the girls thought the set looked fantastic and we are all really exciting about seeing it on the big screen.
We are working on a number of up and coming projects that will be shooting in the summer, namely "Hogfather" (TV Drama for Sky One), "The IT Crowd" and "French Bean".
I hope you all managed to catch a glimpse of "Eastenders" this week, it was action packed & all very gripping with Johnny Allen's Fantastic Country House, supplied by us here at Lavish!

Kate is pleased to announce she is expecting a baby due later in the year!
We got off to a busy start this month, finding locations for a new Feature Film called "The Walker" & a variety of exciting projects which we will be able to give you more information about soon....
May 06
Helen has been working on finding locations for the New Series of "The Catherine Tate Show" which we are all really looking forward to, whilst the other girls have been working on projects including "Spooks" (for the BBC) & another new feature film called "London".
June 06
We're very Busy in the office & with jobs such as "Much ado about Nothing" & "Waking The Dead" (for the BBC) we are really looking forward to seeing some of our great new locations which will feature in them.
July 06
We have had some great new locations registered with us this month so don't forget to check out our New Properties page which is updated daily.
So far this month we have had the new Jamelia music video at one of our most spectacular locations "Skywood House" & we have supplied locations for "Perfect day" (a TV Drama for Channel 5).
August 06
This month we have been working on a new Feature Film called "1408" starring Samuel L Jackson and John Cusack, which is shooting now.
We have started working on the new series of "Miss Marple" after sucessfully suplying most of it's locations last series, which aired in 2005. We will hopefully supply a variety of different locations for it again this series, we will keep you updated.
September 06
This month Sarah Arrowsmith supplied a location for the new McFly music Video Stargirl, which went really well. Sarah joined them on set to help out and see how it all went, she met the boys and had a great evening. The video is out now so look out for it!
We also supplied the location for a photoshoot with Rupert Everett and Jordan for OK magazine.
October 06
We are pleased to announce that Kate had a beautiful baby boy at the beginning of this month. Kate is now on maternity leave, & Helen is back with us full time. So the office based team consists of Helen, Sarah & Sarah who you can contact in the office for any information or advice that you need and Kate will be back with us in 2007!
Lots of new projects have come up this month including locations for the new "Lynda La Plant" TV drama & "Supernatural" for the BBC.
November 06
For those of you that where big fans last time round the new series of "This Life" will be back on our screens soon, with locations supplied by Lavish Locations!
We have also supplied some locations for a new on going Feature Film called "Dangerous Parking" which is filming at the moment & we are also working on finding some locations for another new Feature Film called Baker Street, we will keep you updated with all the lastest gossip.
We have also taken on a new georgian property in Soho available for photoshoots, filming & events. Have a look at it out on the website A552, please do contact us for prices & viewings.
Sarah Arrowsmith went down on set for a photoshoot for Reebok with Scarlett Johansson, that we arranged at one of our top locations K033 (Gee Street).
Also on general release in the Cinemas this Month is "Sixty Six" which we worked on earlier in the year. The reviews are great, don't miss it!!!
December 06
We have had another busy month supplying locations for "Miss Marple" and "Inspector Linley", which we are really looking forward to seeing.
Also "Jekyll" a new tv drama starring James Nesbitt and another tv drama for Granada "Time Of Your Life".
We also supplied a location for MTV'S "Date My Mum".
"The Holiday" is out and the cinemas so make sure you all catch a glimpse when you get the chance.

Happy New Year all!
We got off to a busy start this year working on lots of stills shoots including, Design By White, Sidney Austin, Megan Park and Ok magazine, to name but a few.
The "Miss Marple" team have been filming in Losely Park (M017) one of our main locations and Lynda La Plants Commander has continued to film in various locations that we have provided them with.
February 07
This month we have had jobs including a Furniture Village stills shoot in top location D1849.
The Daily Mail has worked with us this month on a few occasiions including two stills shoot and a commercial.
Silent Witness, Midsommer Murders, Baker Street and Maxwell ( a BBC Drama) have all been filming throughout February.
Commercials have been busy, we have supplied locations for a Finish Commercial, Ladbrookes, Cherries, RSPCA, Dove and Nintendo.
March 07
Another busy month for us all at Lavish....With lots of exciting Filming Jobs including, The Commander, The IT Crowd, Silent Witness, Sense & Sensibility for the BBC and a new Tiger Aspet Production called Coming Down the Hill.
Stills Shoots for NEXT, Flora, The Daily Mail and many more.
Also we found a location for the new NSPCC Commercial and a Pop Promo for a new up and coming Solo singer with a cameo fron Chris de Burgh.
April 07
This month we are pleased to anounce that Kate returned from Maternity Leave to join the team again part time, its great to have the whole team working back together again! Welcome Back Kate!
Sense and Sensibility continues to film in various locations including M017 Losley Park, one of Lavish's top locations. Also A1076 (another great location) provided Whistleblower with a fantastic location so watch out for that!
This month Sarah Mitchell arranged an exciting new location for a new BBC2 Reality Show which will be appearing on your screens soon called the Restaurant, watch out for it sounds like its going to be a good competition!
This months stills shoots include, Furniture Village, DFS, M&S & Multiyork.
